2003 SEASON
The
Glastonbury High School (GHS) Crew was organized in the spring of 2001, and
is currently in its Third season. The crew rows out of Seaboard marina in
South Glastonbury, CT.
Regattas planned for the spring of 2003 are as follows:
May 10 vs Middletown and EO Smith
at Seaboard Marina
May 18 CT public School Championships
at Lake Wauramaug, CT
May 24 vs Litchfield, Farmington and Lewis Mills
at Seaboard Marina
May 31 vs all CT Schools (Emerson Regatta)
at Middletown
All regattas start at around 10:00
Coaches: Head Coach Jeanine Kreh. Assistant Coaches Lauren Mackenzie and
Alice Kast. Volunteer coaches Jeff Carstens, Bill Keister, Bob LaPerla, Sean
Peoples, Gerhard Schade, and Bob Weimar.

GET A HEAD START ON YOUR ROWING CAREER
The Seaboard Summer Rowing Camp provides instruction for novice
rowers. You will share the experience with other beginning rowers.
We provide an excellent opportunity for athletes from other sports to
try rowing.
IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS AND CONDITIONING
Row with the top college coaches from the area to improve your rowing
technique. Presentations on strength, conditioning and nutrition will
give you and edge in your training. Improve your Ergometer score with
our individual coaching.
Coxswains will benefit from recorded coaching sessions and a presentation/
HAVE FUN
Make new friends with like-minded rowers from the area, swim, and
